All our round lifting slings adhere to the necessary safety regulations (BSI/CE, etc.).

Ideal for choke-lifting cylindrical shaped items especially, they also offer great protection to a more delicate load due to the outer soft polyester tubing which are not load bearing; it is the twisted polyester yarn hank within which bears the load whilst also providing a little cushioning. Whilst lifting chains and wire rope slings could mark or damage the load due to their hard nature, it is unlikely a round sling will thanks to its softer properties; they are easier and nicer to handle too!

When you identify the yellow round sling you will know its rated load for a straight, in-line lift is 3 tonne or 3000kg. On an important note, however, this SWL can change, depending on how the sling is used; for example if used in a choke hitch the WLL will reduce down to 2.4 tonne, but double up to 6 tonne in a straight sided basket hitch. It’s always worth remembering to take weight load limits seriously when using round slings. If in doubt don’t try to lift the load.
